Plane was built by the company under state contract.

Delivered by AN-140-100 will be operated by the Air Force. The contract for the production of a series of AN-140-100 for the Defense Ministry was signed in May 2011. Aero Technik has been actively involved in the assembly of this type of aircraft, supplying on-board emergency oxygen equipment and the elements of air-conditioning system.

AN-140-100 was created and offered to replace the fleet of passenger aircraft An-24 and Yak-40 and AN-26 cargo, the An-30 and AN-32. The aircraft designed for 52 seats, equipped with two turboprop engines TVZ-117 VMA-SBM1 located in nacelles under the wing. The engines are equipped with reversible propellers AB-140-100. High position of engines on the wing prevents the penetration of foreign objects in them from the runway, which, combined with low pressure tires of the landing gear allows reliable operation of the aircraft, even on dirt runways.

By the end of 2012, "Aviakor" must make a few planes of this type.
