The conference became the basis for planning the production program of CJSC Aviastar-SP for the next eight years for the serial production of Il-76-MD-90A aircraft.

By 2025, more than 170 transporters will be produced on the basis of the modified Il-76.

The organizer was the management company Ulyanovsk Aviation Cluster and CJSC Aviastar-SP with the support of the Government of the Ulyanovsk Region, Federal Air Transport Agency, the Union of Russian Aircraft Manufacturers, OJSC United Aircraft Corporation and OJSC Il. The event was held as part of the Aviation Capital of Russia project in Ulyanovsk.

The governor of the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov, opened the conference, said that in five years in production "Aviastar-SP" will feature about 400 suppliers. "For this, in 2013 we will begin to create the largest industrial park", - said Morozov. During the forum, its opinion on the draft also expressed general director JSC «IL» Victor Livanov, who said that "The aircraft has established itself as a reliable and efficient ship" and CEO of "Aviastar-SP" Sergey Dementiev, who said that by 2016-2017 the plant plans to produce 16-18 aircraft per year.

The company Aero Technik, who participated in the conference, examines the complete set of promising new generation of Russian aircraft as one of the priority tasks.

Conference participants were current and potential participant in a cooperative for the production of IL-76-MD-90A, heads of relevant government bodies, heads of aviation-oriented regions of the Russian Federation, the leading experts in the aviation industry.
